The MEDS Coalition, Alameda County, and Supervisor Nate Miley host the 2nd Annual Safe Medication Disposal Conference on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 9 am to 3pm.

The event will be held at the Castro Valley Library, located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue in Castro Valley.

The event is designed for pharmacies, drug companies, waste haulers, policymakers, law enforcement, water and sanitary districts, community based organizations and other interested persons.

Topics include the Alameda County Safe Medication Disposal Ordinance, DEA Regulations, Roles of Pharmacies, Producers and Haulers, and Product Stewardship Organizations.
