Pleasanton Police Department Hosts Free Speaker Series for Parents

The Pleasanton Police Department will host a free speaker’s series specifically targeting topics of interest to parents of children ages 10 and up. They include the growing use of prescription and over the counter drugs, bullying, cyber bullying, and Internet safety.

According to data compiled by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in 3 teens ages 12 to 17 have experienced online harassment, with girls being more likely to be the victims of cyber bullying.

The presentation schedule follows:
